Description : Montrose Travel Centre is an official Gateway Information Centre for Tourism KZN, at Montrose Country Shell station on the N3, half way between Johannesburg and Durban. Over one million travellers stop at Montrose annually and we stay open with attendants on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve them. We display and distribute all TKZN official brochures, and brochures published by groups or associates registered with TKZN. We promote special events over the Public Address system at Montrose. We have an open invitation to area associates to send representatives to put up stalls at Montrose, from time to time to promote their areas personally. The extensive Montrose Premises and the Information Office facilities will be made available at no charge for this. We offer a free telephone, fax and Internet service to bona fide tourists who request it. We do not charge commission for accommodation or other bookings negotiated from this office. While display of all registered are or group brochures is a free service, we reserve the right to charge an annual subscription fee to private individuals or commercial corporations who wish to display their private brochure (Such as a single B & B brochure) or corporate brochures (Such as a Hotel group brochure). We have installed events a "special events" display window illuminated at night to display posters promoting special shows, festivals and events 60 to 90 days in advance of events.
